Usage of Data
The bot may use stored data, as defined below, for different features including but not limited to: Welcoming joining users (when enabled) and command handling. No usage of data outside of the aforementioned cases will happen, and the data is not shared with any 3rd-party site or service.
Stored Information
The bot may store the following information automatically when being invited to a new Discord Server:
id
with the Server’s ID as value.language
with value enprefix
with value p.welcome_background
with value color_whitewelcome_channel
with value none
The bot collects and uses information solely for the purpose of processing Discord messages and responding to requests. The “Message Content” intent allows the bot to access the content of messages to fulfill the desired functions. No other information outside of the above-mentioned one will be stored.
Message Content Intent
In addition to the stored information, the bot utilizes the “Message Content” intent to process Discord messages and respond accordingly. This includes the temporary access to the content of messages, facilitating features like spam prevention and content moderation.
Updating Data
Data updates can be initiated by utilizing specific commands. These updates will necessitate input from an end user. It’s important to note that sensitive information, such as message content, might be stored in cases where certain commands are employed and require such data to be retained. No other actions may update the stored information at any given time.
Temporarily Stored Information
The bot retains stored information using an internal caching mechanism for a designated duration. Once this timeframe elapses, the cached data will be discarded and will only be reinstated when necessary. We do not permanently store Discord user data or message contents. The information processed temporarily by the bot is used exclusively for the operation of the bot and is not stored. Data within the cache might also be removed prematurely due to actions like removing the bot from the server.
Removal of Data
Automatic Removal
Automated data removal can be accomplished by removing the bot from the server. This can be achieved by either kicking or banning the bot. Re-inviting the bot to the server will result in the restoration of the same default values, as previously specified, within the bot’s database.
Manual Removal
You can initiate a manual data removal request by emailing us at hello[at]aria7.bot. To ensure security, we will require you to furnish evidence of server ownership for which data removal is sought. Kindly note that only the server owner is authorized to request manual data removal. Making such a request will lead to the removal of the bot from the server if it is still active on the server.
